DISCLAIMER and STATEMENT 2022/23
DEPOSIT - KANA as a small independent business (its just me), my very small team and the people I choose to work with to create this special experience for you.
Each one of you and each and every reservation is very important to us. Besides putting lots of love, time and energy into organising our retreats we also have to make non-recoverable payments in advance to make them happen, so please read our terms and conditions carefully before you book. Thank you!
When you sign up for a retreat, we ask for a non-refundable deposit of 30%. Reservations via email or phone, IG messages are not official bookings yet. We are receiving many messages and are only a small team. Only once we have received your payment in full or deposit or proof of payment, your reservation is officially confirmed. By transferring your payment or deposit, you indicate that you have read and agreed to the terms and conditions on this page.
BOOKING + PAYMENT PROCESS & RESERVATION DEPOSIT
Your spot on retreat as well as specific Room, Suit or Apartment is reserved once we receive payment in full or a non-refundable deposit of 30% of full value,
Deposit is NOT refundable.
The registration Deposit is 30% per person. If you are booking double occupancy please expect to pay 30% per person and not per booking.
Once we receive the 30% Deposit, we will be in touch with you to discuss and confirm your payment plan and confirm your reservation.
Only once you receive confirmation from us to arrange a payment plan this is a confirmed booking.
Remaining balance has to be payed no later than 4 weeks prior to start of Retreat date.
We do offer payment plan in 2 - 3 remaining instalments. Payment has to be made in Full, at the latest 4 weeks prior to the start of the retreat, or you have lose your space and paid in amount.
WAITING LIST POLICY - we are happy to add your name on our ”Spontaneous waiting list” and if at any point we have a space opening we will be in touch.
we have created a Priority Waiting List , where we ask for £500 deposit for being added to our Priority waiting list - this money will be used towards your Retreat booking and would be deducted from a total value of retreat in situation when you receive offer for a space opening. PRIORITY list is limited, and is been created to help us response quickly and efficiently if we have to fill spaces in the period of last 4- 2 - 1 weeks prior to retreat , it helped us manage “ seriously interested” from “generaly curious”.
We still operate a Spontaneous waiting list, as last minute spontaneous decisions are sometimes really the best. With Priority Waiting list we help both sides to gave as quick booking process as possible on case of last minute travel plans has to be arranged. Your £500 Priority Deposit is fully refundable if you do not get offered a space on retreat.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Kana retreats do not offer refunds of any kind for the retreat deposit. Before signing up, please make sure you can make it. Refunds for the remaining amount depends on when we receive the cancellation. Should you need to cancel with more than 4 weeks until the retreat date, you will be refunded 70% of the total amount ( 30% deposit is non refundable). Should you need to cancel within 4 weeks of the retreat date, 50% of the total amount (minus the 30% deposit) will be refunded. Finally, under no circumstance will there be any refunds given for cancellation requests made within 2 weeks of the retreat date.
TRAVEL & HEALTH INSURANCE
Nobody books or organises a retreat with the intention of cancelling it, but last few years has shown us that unexpected events do occur, so we strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance. Furthermore, you participate in the classes, hikes and workshops at your own risk and you must employ your own judgment as to which movements, positions, and exercises are appropriate for your level of training, overall physical fitness and experience as well as mental stability. All participants are required to have international health insurance that also covers medical care and transport home if needed.
COVID POLICY
All guests Must follow Covid protocol and rules applied by their country and Country we are traveling too.
Please check with your government as well as with the country where retreat is taking place (Portuguese, Spanish, Italian) government if you are allowed to travel to and stay, . Kana Retreats is not responsible for your additional travel efforts and costs such as the COVID test and quarantining.
IN CASE WE MUST CANCEL KANA RETREAT
If we must cancel a retreat, we will notify you as soon as possible and you can request a full refund.
Kana is not accountable for your expenses incurred in preparation for the retreat, such as airline tickets, loss of work, visas fees and/or other costs associated with preparation for your trip.
OUR RIGHTS AS ORGANISERS
Kana reserves the right the change the program, teachers or team members at all times.
Kana reserves the right to remove a participant from the retreat if their behaviour is disruptive.
Kana reserves the right to keep a guest liable if they bring damage to the house or belongings.
Kana reserves the right to take images and filming parts of the program, the footage taken for documenting and further promotion of the retreat will be always discreet. ( if you do not wish to be on any images used for our promotion please do let us know)
