WHAT TO EXPECT 

In this two hour workshop we will be making a collection of 6 decorations to adorn your Christmas tree or to give as a gift. This is a great introduction to hand building with clay and is just enough time to gain an understanding of the material and get you in the Christmas spirit

You will be guided through the slab building technique and we will have ready made templates for you to choose from or you are welcome to make your own.  Once you have cut out your decorations, it will be time to let your creativity run free. We will show you how to apply different textures and print ‘christmassy’ designs and text into the clay.

After the session you will leave your creations with us and we will process them for you i.e glaze and fire in our kiln. We will dip them in a beautiful snow white glaze and it should take roughly 4-5 weeks to process them. We will notify you by email when it is ready for collection.
